After Antalyaspor bid farewell to the Super League, the team, which failed to stay in the league despite transferring 17 new players at the start of the season, has its eyes on the general assembly to be held on June 19. According to the report by Antalya Körfez Gazetesi, no official application has been made yet, following the announcement by Antalyaspor A.Ş. President Rıza Perçin that he will not be a candidate again. Despite defeating Kocaelispor 1-0 in the last week's match, the team's fans continue to react to the team's relegation to the 1st League after 12 years. Within the community, opinions are gaining weight that Antalyaspor Association, Antalyaspor Foundation, and Antalyaspor A.Ş. should unite under one roof. Mustafa Ergun made an assessment regarding the process. Stating that they will not leave the club unattended before the congress, Ergun announced that he is ready to hand over the task to a new candidate with a strong management list. Ergun stated that if a businessperson accepted by the community takes responsibility, he will resign from his duty. Emphasizing that he has no intention of escaping from duty, the club president announced that they have made a payment of 100 million TL since the day the team was relegated. Ergun stated that they will start planning transfers for the new season after Friday and will continue to work for the team to return to the Super League. Responding to the claims of 20 million TL regarding the club's financial situation on social media, Ergun said that all accounts are open to audit. Recalling that only 50 people were registered as members during his term and that the free membership period has ended, Ergun stated that the club has also been providing transportation services free of charge for 3 years. Stating that the accounts can be examined in a transparent manner, Ergun added that their doors are open to all members. Reiterating that he will not enter the presidential race if a true Antalya enthusiast becomes a candidate, Ergun stated that they will continue to act in the interests of the club.
