Antalyaspor President Mustafa Ergün announced that the club's transfer ban issues have been resolved. He stated, “No player can leave without the club’s permission,” and emphasized that they visited door to door and collected money. It was reported that nine out of 16 transfer files were solved, and agreements were reached for seven remaining files. They are working to secure approximately €600-700 thousand for the remaining three files.
The club aims to have a full squad for their away match against Mardin 1969 on August 25th. It was mentioned that about 90% of the 50 million TL worth of player acquisitions from last season were paid, which increased players' trust in the club.
Ergün provided information about the club's financial situation, stating that around 338 million TL entered the treasury and was spent on player payments (100 million TL), various debts (178 million TL), and transfer files (50 million TL).
He also mentioned that they managed to keep 80% of the squad, made some adjustments due to foreign player quotas, and reported the transfer of Jesper Ceesay. Additionally, it was stated that negotiations with Saric are ongoing despite not having a release fee for him.
Ergün highlighted that the Ballet process has been extended and mentioned that licenses have been issued for players Safuri, Storm, Van de Streek, and Boli, as well as agreements reached with two foreign footballers.
