Antalyaspor is facing a penalty from FIFA that will prevent the club from adding new players during the next three transfer registration periods. The red-and-white team started the previous season in the Süper Lig with 18 new names but had to finish the season without making any further transfers due to this penalty. Reports indicate that Antalyaspor has 14 pending cases with FIFA, requiring a total payment of 2.7 million euros. Antalyaspor A.Ş. will hold an Extraordinary General Assembly on June 19, Friday. Current president Rıza Perçin has announced that he will not run for re-election. Resolving FIFA cases is not enough for Antalyaspor; according to Turkish Football Federation regulations, the club must also have no tax or Social Security Institution debts or must restructure them. President Rıza Perçin stated that the current debt, excluding the claims of the Öztürk family, is around 40 million euros. He noted that even excluding tax and SGK payments, the club needs between 10-15 million euros this year.
